*List of ingredients:
°2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries (thawed and drained) (do not use blueberries)
°1 cup of sugar
°1 cup Gold Medal™ All Purpose Flour
°2 teaspoons of yeast
°1/2 teaspoon of salt
°1 cup milk
°1/2 cup butter, melted
°Cream, whip cream or ice cream
*Methods
In a medium bowl, combine the blackberries and sugar. Let sit for about 20 minutes or until fruit syrup forms. Heat the oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Stirring in melt butter to blended. Spreading in an un-greased 8-inch square pan. Spoon the blackberry mixture over the dough.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until the dough rises and is golden brown. Serve hot with cream.
