Red wine
Mix ½ cup of red wine with ½ cup of water and pour into the trap described above.
Place the cup where the flies usually are and watch them enter the trap and drown in the liquid.
Cider vinegar
It's probably the best ingredient, because it's cheap and easy to find. Heat ½ c of apple cider vinegar also add a few drop liquid detergent. Blending well and pour to the trap.
The sweet smell of the vinegar will attract flies and mosquitoes, and the detergent will trap curious flies.
Leftover fruits also vegetables
Another very easy way to trap them is to use what attracts these vermin.
Fill the cup with leftover fruits and vegetables and you will have the same result as using the liquid mixtures.
Milk, pepper and sugar
If you have expired dairy products, you can use some in your trap. Heat two cups of milk and add 8 tablespoons of sugar and 4 tablespoons of pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, then pour the mixture into a shallow bowl.
Flies will be attracted to the sweet smell and will drown.
lemon oil
Citrus scents can repel insects and fruit flies.
Add 10-15 drops of lemon or lemongrass oil to 2 cups of hot water. Then pour into a spray bottle and spray wherever you see fruit flies
